Resizing viewport pane/tab in DS - won't work

This is driving me nuts. I don't know how it got smaller but it did.

I'm trying to resize my viewport area - you hover over those vertical edges and it goes yellow and pop up says "click and drag to resize viewport" but it won't work! I can do it on the left hand side easily. But on the right (where teh arrow is in screenshot) I click, hold and drag to the right to make my viewport bigger, but it simply doesn't work. Is there some trick that I'm unaware of??

Might be a panel that you have docked. When I had the Octane window docked, it would not let be resize the view port. But as soon as I closed the Octane window, I could resize again as normal. Maybe there is a setting that fixes a pane to a specific size, but I don't know where it is or even if there is one.

I can't read the title of the last pane in the right dock, but it does sound like there's a pane that has a minimum size preventing the center dock from being resized,

the last one is the "timeline"

uploaded larger image in case that helps

i have no idea how to tell if something has a minimum size. I'll get rid of teh timeline one and see if that helps

ok it was the timeline tab. As soon as i closed that, i was able to drag the view port over. Dang.

  • Yes Timeline always bugs me like this it is a pain in the a***. I also found them stuck like this today (both sides) but fixed it by toggling Window-> Workspace -> Lock Docking/Undocking (Ctrl-U).
