Is there a way to adjust glosiness of diffuse map only?

Hey there everyone I hope you are having a wonderful day!
So, I have been trying to create leather material but I wonder, lets say I have leather that has stitching on it.
The leather uses only bump map while the stitching maps are plugged into diffuse and displacement.
Now, when I adjust the glossiness to make the leather glossy, the thread gets glossy as well since the maps are of course in the same material group.
Is there a way to keep the leather glossy but reduce the glossiness of the thread?

Create a specular map -- this gets multiplied by the specular strength, white areas = full strength, black = zero strength.
