Hey all, I've created my own blood splatter prop, but when I try to add it into the animation, it either is put in for the entire scene or won't go in at all. I've tried making it not visible until impact, but it doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

    Try scaling it down to zero in the first frame and in the frame before you want it to appear, then scale it up when you want to appear and in the last frame. Depending on which application you are using you will either need additional key frames or to turn off interpolation to avoid an overshooting effect on the scale. The other option is simply to do two scenes and stitch them together, one before blood and one after - you should be rendering to an image sequence anyway, so that should be pretty simple.
