How to create a custom G8 character and sell it in DAZ shop?

Hello,

I have been using DAZ for a couple of years. I am also a Blender user.

I would like to use Blender to create a custom G8 character and sell it in the DAZ shop. How can I do that?

What are the technical steps that I should follow?

Thanks for your answer. However I am afraid that I was not clear enough in my first post.

What I need to know is the technical steps to create a G8 based figure. What programs should I use? How do I maitain the compatibility with G8? ... etc

  • Make sure you export the base figure, without any add-ons (for the Genesis 8s that includes no lashes) at Base resolution, adjust the shape without adding orr emoving geoemtry, and export the result as OBJ with the vertex order preserved. You should then be able to load as a morph through Morph Loader. After that, depending on how great the chnages are, you may need to adjust the rigging and link the chnages to the morph (via ERC Freeze) and you may need to create corrective morph to make the shape work with posing and set up links so that those adjustments trigger when needed and not at other times, using ERC Freeze and/or the Property Hierarchy.
