Black spots on skin, also rough bumpy skin

Using default Genesis 8 female and a few issues seem to be popping up. There are black splotches on the nose and lips here, and the skin around the chest is quite coarse and looks ugly, while the skin on the face has almost no detail?

This is my first time using Daz 3D so I'm not sure if I've done something obviously wrong or I've posted this in the wrong place.

It might also be worth noting that I followed this tutorial to try and get wet skin effects.
