Genesis 8 male not looking correct in Daz Studio .15

Is anyone else having problems with how Genesis 8 male characters look in Daz Studio 4.15? This is the genesis 8 basic male, and as you can see, he looks like the Alistair character, but I did not add any morphs just loaded the genesis 8 basic male. Even when removing the morphs, the face change only a little. Can someone help me with this problem?

    Obviously, you have some character morphs installed with non-zero default value.

    To fix any ill-behaving morphs, do as follows;

    1. Load your base figure or the developer version.
    2. Select "Show Hidden" in the Parameters-Tab, drop down menu (right-click)
    3. Zero the figure (Found in Parameters-Tab, drop down menu)
    4. Memorize the figure (Found in Parameters-Tab, drop down menu)
    5. File->Save As->Support Asset->Save Modified Assets

    This procedure will zero the default value in the ill-behaving morph/morphs, and while saving DS also shows you a list of the morphs it is changing.

  • Could not find the zero the figure or memorize the figure. Can you please send a screenshot or photo of where they are located, please?

  • Here is what I see in hidden

  • You might also want to see if you have the updated version of Alistair, as the update fixes the problem you seem to be having.  I purchased Alistair after he was fixed, but you might have bought him prior to that?  It's worth a look to see. :)

    Either way, I hope you get this resolved.  Oh, and Richard or some other kind official DAZ moderator will ask you to show your screen shot with the figure in smooth shaded mode, not textured mode (it's against forum rules to show an unclothed figure with textures applied.) :)

    And you might want to remove the naked picture r.e. the forum TOS

    The initial release of Alistair HD caused his morph to be dialed in when loading a Genesis 8 Male figure/character.  It was quickly fixed with an update.  Uninstall and reinstall Alistair HD should fix your issue.

  • Sorry about the nude figure I did not know was just trying to show how the figure looked when first loaded.

  • Holy crap! Thanks. My G8M were so ugly and I couldn't figure out why no matter what morphs I applied they looked the same! I wish I had seen this months ago!
