Problem with skin color when using Face Transfer

I've noticed in some of my face transfers the genisis 8 figure's skin tone/color doesn't match the face's. Is there something I'm missing that would correct it?

    It's a quirk of FT. Take note of what the new face texture is called and where it is located, load a mat file {possibly of the figure before you ran it through FT} - then swap out the Face Texture for the new one. This should also improve the eye textures.

    It always seem to come out a litle darker and yellowish/brownish.

    So make the photo really bright and well exposed. Very little shadows on the face and evenly lit.

    Thanks for the info, if only I understood what you meant. Can you recommend a link to instructions or a video on how to do this?

    Really?

    Okay. Load and select the default figure. Basic D/S program stuff, File > save as > Material preset. Everything is selected. Save that. {or look through your folders, you already have some}

    Load and select your Face Transfer figure, notice on the Surface Tab where the new textures are housed. Then find that new mat preset you just made and click or double-click on it. Then on the Surfaces Tab, browse to the location where the new textures had been saved to and re-apply them. If all looks better, then save out another mat file so next time it will be ready to use when needed.

    If you want to use the mat preset of any other character you have for the same figure, that is okay too. For example you can use the default mats but change the eye mat to one from another character set. So then for example, your new FT [face transfer] character can have blue, green, brown, etc. eyes too.

    You really have to do pre and post editing to get it to look descent in most cases. Make sure you are feeding it quality images that have been cleaned up and afterwards take the textures and clean them up. I like to blend them in a new layer in photoshop or photo-paint with a really good character set of maps.
