Import obj from Blender looses textures in latest update to DS - Solved

Something has changed in recent DS updates. My Blender obj exports show up as solid gray untextured objects but the surfaces tab shows the materials. I tried importing old objects I had previously imported with no issues and they do the same thing, the textures show up in the surfaces tab but do not get applied to the object. I am neither a DAZ Studio or Blender pro but I thought I had this down a long time ago and it has always worked with the settings given to me by SickleYield over a year ago but not any more. Any ideas as to where to look for the cause of the problem? Any input is appreciated.

Do they render correctly? If so it's just the display mode - you may have caught one of the shortcuts (cmd/ctrl plus the numbers 1-9) by mistake. if that is it you can fix it by pressing cmd(Mac)/ctrl(Win)-9 to revert to texture Shaded m,ode, or by clicking the sphere icon next to the camera picker at top-right of the viewport.

That was it! I love simple solutions. Thanks for fixing a dumb mistake.

This is strange as I have ad this issue for over 3 years of using Blender and Daz Studio and always had to load the maps manually. What SickleYield settings are you referring to. I would be interested in seeing them.

Here is the thread where he gave me all I needed to know on importing.

That and a lot of experimenting got me to where it is simple now, that is except when I turn off textures accidentally.
