Ha! Rather neat. (There were some very nice gen3 characters.)

Checked out the store and 'new' on the first link...was able to go forward a little bit. The millenium girls, the storybook dragon, songbird, charger! Good stuff. I still use the storybook dragon on occasion and though I have most of Ken's newer birds, I still use the original songbird a bunch---just load, pose, and render. No product pages, but the thumbnails in the store sections bring back sooooo many memories. Heh.

Does that make me old if I remember using the site when it looked like that? ^^

I remember it well... It was the year I started to be a DAZ 3D customer. :)

Thank you very much for bringing these memories back, Dogz! :)

Oh so THAT"S what DAZ stands for. Never realized it was an acronym.

As someone who's new to Daz, I wouldn't mind going back to explore the heritage of the current models, though at the moment I just can't justify paying full price for oldies in comparison to latest and greatest. The "powers that be" should really consider a big, heavily discounted, Gen 3 bundle (or at least a nice sale similar to recent V4/M4 one).

Side note: The Wayback Machine is all well and good, but a Wayforward Machine would be MUCH better. Where's that technology?

Catch 22. You'd need a way forward machine just to find that out :P

If you built that Wayforward machine, Dr. Who would probably appear and shut it down. Humans can't be trusted with Time Travel, as he has proven many times...

Too bad the Wayback machine can't get to free.daz3d.com (you get an error every time). That's where the old freebie repository was kept. There were some excellent items in there.

Thorne's store is on sale now, if anyone is looking to collect some Gen 3 characters. Some of the best Aiko 3 characters were done by Thorne/Mada/Sarsa, so watch for them being on sale.

One thing that irks me about the Gen 3 items in the Daz store is that they pulled the Young Teens Morph pack. I bought it 4 years ago. It's in my product library. They even converted it to a zip file I could download, but new users can't buy it. A lot of the cute Laura figures depend on that morph pack but you can't buy it. You can get all the V3, S3 and A3 morph packs, but not Luke and Laura.

A few months back I also made a post from DAZ in the Waybackmachine and I even got to shop!
    Couldn't pay though :P

DAZ must have one - here's a lot of products that haven't been released yet:

Hmmm, I see a lot of stuff there that sounds interesting. Especially the superhero monokini. I may have to get a second job...

Ooh... Neat trick, Taozen. Is the fact we can view these widely known?

Looks like we've got a lot of really good stuff coming up!

These pages are freely accessible to anyone but I don't know how many are aware that you can see future items there.

Looks like we've got a fair percentage of the lineup for week 4 of the PA sale. Plus this week's PC offerings.
