lost product lists and categorized content during upgrade

upgraded an early 4.6 to the newest...
content panel only shows
poser
and daz content
product list gone
and the stuff I indexed
---
all the stuff that was in the daz/poser directories still there including all the scene subsets...
---
any idea where to look for the content lists I arranged?

    but since the update metadata is listed as irreversible --- I didn't want to run something that might trash all my previous notes...

    For what it's worth as a benchmark, it took 5-10 minutes on my i7 system. I don't know precisely because I wasn't watching it like a hawk. I have about 1300 items in my library.
