I have purchased Victoria 8.1.
Before installing Victoria 8.1, there was no error log when importing "Genesis 8.1" from "Daz studio".
However, after installing Victoria 8.1, a warning message is displayed

Try downloading and reinstalling the G8.1 and default resources. Is it coming up with an annoying box when you load or is this just contained to the logs? I seem to have some thousand lines of such warnings but everything works fine
These are really just links to products looking for other products that you may not have. ERRORS and DUPLICATES are what you should really be concerned with.

Can you load G8, G8.1 or Victoria 8.1 into your scene?
If not, how do you try to load it into your scene?
yes i installed "Default DAZ Resources for 4.15" and "genesis 8 Female Starter" and "Victoria 8.1"

and There is "facs_ctrl_Wink.dsf" facial expression

Ah, okay. I thought your problem and my problem might be somehow connected, for I cannot load G8 Females by just clicking on them. I am getting a file does not exist message. Unlike, when I drag and drop G8 Females into my editor it does work.

Have you installed the Genesis 8.1 starter essentials? I think that comes with a DAZ Studio 4.15 update. You need it to use Victoria 8.1.

I purchased 8.1 and have the same or similar problem. I can load all other versions of Genesis/Victoria by clicking image with no problem.
With 8.1 I get the message:

I deleted 8.1 files, downloaded again and re-installed, still get same issue.
You have installed the updated Genesis 8 Starter Essentials and the updated Default Resouces?
I gather some people have had difficulties and have had success by deinstalling the G8 starter esssentials and Default resources, then reinstalling rather than overwriting them.
The same problem occurs when installing for the first time without overwriting and nothing.
Did you have a "facs_ctrl_Wink.dsf" file?
Don't those belong to "Genesis 8 Female Expressions"?
The facial expressions in v8.1 are no longer compatible with v8.
Have you checked that the expressions are not updated to include 8.1?

I had some missing file notices when I tried to load G8.1. Some of the same files as listed in above posts. Jack directed me to this thread.

I am stuck on DS 4.9 for now. Does that mean I cannot load or use Genesis 8.1?
DS 4.9 is quite old...
You may be able to load Genesis 8.1 on it, but you will not get any Genesis 8 characters/morphs and/or expressions to load for it and you will probably have problems fitting items to it and using whatever scripts with it.
The new shader also needs 4.15
