Will there be any Halloween-related celebrations in 3D community?

Hi guys!

Just a brainstorm. Do you think there will be any Halloween-related celebrations in 3D community? TheFantasieAttic is starting collecting gifts for theirs: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/46778/. Browsing the forum, I learned DAZ used to (or still does?) run giveaways for Halloween. I am European, so I don't celebrate, but would be glad to contribute something. However, there must be a giveaway to be able to do so first :)! So if you know anything about events during this Autumn months, please share.

    Err, ... I am European (Irish), and we certainly do celebrate Halloween (or All Hallows Eve as it were in Olden Tymes) :-)

    My wife is Irish, and a practicing Witch, so it's Samhain and Hallowe'en around here. We're not in Europe, but the holiday is celebrated there in various forms. I'm going to celebrate by trying to do some creepy renders. If I can find the time...

    I'm pretty sure Halloween murdered St. Martin around here a few years back.

    Halloween's cooler anyway.

    Certainly hoping for some themed releases from various artists, if nothing else. :)

    Wondering if anyone's secretly got around to making some proton packs and traps for Genesis 1/2... Or at least some jumpsuits, because there seems to be a curious lack of those, considering how many professions they'd be useful for rendering various pictures of.

    I would be extremely surprised if the FaerieWylde forums at Faerie Dreams didn't do anything for Hallowe'en. Exactly what Mada, Sarsa, Thorne, and the other regulars do is a surprise, of course...

    This year’s theme is zombies (and their hunters… think Rick, Daryl and Michonne). Make your image using any base figure either as a zombie or a zombie hunter. Show us your scariest zombies and their oh so brave hunters… girls or boys. All images must be original for the contest and not posted anywhere else (until the contest is over). Post your images here in the contest forum, each in a separate thread, with a title and if you feel creative, tell us a little story about your image. You may post up to 3 different images in the contest. Entry deadline is November 1 Midnight, U.S. Central Time Most of all, have fun!     So in recent years there were no festivals at DAZ? I joined in 2012 and don't remember anything like that.

    As I said, in my area Halloween is not a tradition, but I would be surprised if nothing showed up here. This is an English-speaking area and so on. A sale is a must, no doubt all shops will jump on the opportunity ;).

    What I am certain about is that my morph will be released, most certainly a freebie, at least for some time. Or with limited texturing options forever and with full galore for a symbolic price. She is a fairy or adolescent morph and may work for ghoulish themes. She does not require any morph expansions too. I also plan to release a texture pack for one of her favouritehhairstyles (DS material presets, Poser users can apply them directly from images). This will be free to everyone for sure.
