Not Exactly a Tutorial Video

Hey everyone,
Thought I would share this video I made recently dong a run through of my workflow with DAZ and photoshop. Not really a tutorial, but hopefully fun none-the-less.
Cheers!

Nice video. Loved the camera angle you went with, too.
Also, I love industrial music, and I've never heard of Bionic Distortion. Looks like I have a new artist in my rotation.

Oh.. wait.. what? You're BD? o_O
Thanks! That was one of my fav images from last year. It made the rounds on Stand Winston's FB page too which was really cool.
As for BionicDistortion...check out my signature for the link on SoundCloud to all my songs. I make all my music with Logic Studio.
Very cool to have made it on his FB. Congrats :)
Bookmarked your soundcloud. Do you still put out albums or just the one?
I actually have two albums so to speak, Darkened Theatre and Villains Will Rise. Its all movie based stuff so each song is inspired by a different film. Darkened Theatre was a mixed genre of films but Villains had a distinct focus in that it was all songs inspired by the Villains of some of my favorite films. Darkened theatre I made official CDs for but it proved very costly, so Villains I just put all the songs up on SoundCloud. I actually still need to have a friend master Villains cause right now it is all raw.
I had to take a break from making music tracks when I started working on my film Capsized ( http://www.capsizedthemovie.com )
I plan on doing a follow up album at some point called Heroes Will Fall. But not sure when.
Thanks for the positive feedback btw!
Is there anything you don't do? lol The film looks right up my alley. I saw both Buried and Gravity and tend to enjoy those few-actor butt-clenching movies (Open Water was another one). lol It's just suspenseful in situations that can actually happen, which makes them all the more terrifying. No jump scares, no overdone zombie makeup.. just pure, adrenaline pumping fear.
As for having Villians mastered, I think raw is good, especially when it comes to industrial. It retains the unpolished, gritty feel to it that seems to pay homage to the originals like Throbbing Gristle.
Hehehe. Yeah, I do alot. Anything creative I am all about it!
http://www.geminiifilms.com is my website, has lots of my editing work and stuff about our film including a couple trailers. We have entered it into over 100 film festivals so fingers crossed it is received well.
Good luck with it. :)
I can see where the film work crosses over into your work with Daz now, especially the way you set up your camera angles and framing.
Yeah, I have a tendency to make my DAZ work very cinematic. I recently started doing 20x16 sized instead of 2:35x1 ratios cause they just don't print well.
I very much like the video. Thank you for sharing your workflow. Now I want to use cinematic music while I compose my scenes, heh. :)
Thanks Chris! Happy to inspire!
