Rigging a non rigged prop

Ok I found one tutorial on it and it doesn't seem to work. If anyone can help that would be awesome

    You can help us help you by:

    1) telling us what you are making (the model)

    2) what you are trying to do with it/to it (the model); what have you tried; what worked and what didn't work

    3) show us pictures of the model

    4) tell us what version of DAZ Studio you are using

    5) if you are using other software, tell us which

    6) what platform and OS are you on

    7) what is the URL to the tutorial you found

    The more information you provide, the more accurate the information we can give you.

    (3a) Show us a wire shaded picture of the model.
