There should be a Close/Cancel button at bottom-right of the render window. Once it's done rendering (Close button) you can also go back to the main UI by switching windows (e.g. Alt-tab) but that will leave the render data taking up memory on the system/GPU.
You can use the Snip and Sketch Tool to tkae a screen shot within Windows, rather than taking a photo of the sreen.
It looks as if your Viewport has been closed - Window>Panes(Tabs)>Viewport will reopen it, then you can drag by the top bar to the top of the empty grey area and you should then see a line of highlight colour, drop the bar at that point to dock the Viewport. You can also just use Window>Workspace>Select layout to go back to square one on the interface.
