And... the store search isn't working

Is anyone else having NaN as a [store] search result this morning?

You're not alone. Whatever they decided to 'upgrade' six months ago, needs to be taken out and the old version put back in. I prefer functionality over 'new, shiny and fancy'.
Moved to the Commons as it is not a Daz Studio question, edited first post for Please put your question in the post body and the title - Daz 3D Forums
What search term(s) did you try?
I've tried several and none of them work.
It's happening for me too today (was working fine yesterday - well, as fine as it has been since store switchover). Almost any search term will do it - two examples attached.
ETA: I'm using Google Chrome browser, but it happens on my (old version of) Internet Explorer too.
I am having the same issue
just saw Nan
i was searching for the bat. i remember a bat figure, the animal . cant find it
Same here. I get the same non-result no matter what I try to search for.
I'm told this should be fixed
Yes, it's looking good (or at least as good as it was before this latest problem started)
I'm speculating that just about every customer thinks that the store search should be fixed.
Was it AM's vampire bat?
When I searched for Racoon it just took me to Little Racoon Poses for Ping The Ringtail | 3D Models and 3D Software by Daz 3D
I think there is more racoon things besides that..plus shouldnt it show only the product and not take me directly to a products page?
There are two Cs in "raccoon", which might make a difference.
Yes thank you..but shouldnt I have been taken to the product rather than the product's page?
I was hoping for a Vendor parameter in the Product Library. Instead they downgrade the store search into the same thing that's on the Product Library.
even better bat. thank you. think i was thinkin of the silver key one
I cannot search on a specific Artist like "Mousso" or "Emrys". That returns a big fat zero.
I can serach on specific characters, like "Daisy". Clicking on "Emrys" on the "Daisy" page will then bring up Emrys' products in the store.
The way the new search engine works is that if there's a one-to-one match of search term and item -- or what it thinks is a match, which is quite frequently not a match -- it will immediately take you to that item. There's no way around that for the enduser like us; it's the way the search was designed to behave. Don't ask me why; it strikes me as fairly user-hostile behavior, but I'm not a programmer.
The artist field appears to have been excluded from the new search engine's index. Essentially, it doesn't seem to know that the Artist field exists.
There is a Vendor index page that lists all the current vendors (last entry on the top blue bar on any main store or product page). Each entry is a link to their store. Not quite the same as a store filter, but 99% of the time it is the same.
