I saw this on the Store Front today and it has me a bit curious. The UV's are by DraagonStorm and Slosh

A I think sometime last year these came out by Sickleyield

I Personally have had no interest in any of the Genesis 2 Bases or Shapes, except for Maybe Girl 6, which is the only one we never got for Genesis. I have how ever been interested one or two of the products available for the Genesis Two Figures. One in Particular being the Bot Armor for Genesis 2. I just really love the over all look of it.

I would like to see what people have been able to do with the Genesis 2 clones to see if its even worth attempting to buy and convert the bot armor.

So I went ahead and bought the Genesis 2 UV's for Genesis and it works great!

I used the only texture I bought for Genesis 2 which is the RoboGenII By RawArt

Its super easy to use, and yeah, works great! And now I want to do more.

so I would like to know what is your Favorite Genesis 2 Merchant Resource or Base Textures.

    Neither would work.

The clones are for converting clothing, not figures so the Girl morph wouldn't convert using this method. GenX2 should work.

The bot armor is geografted so it's not compatible with Genesis 1's mesh.

You can get the previous version which is for Genesis!

It doesn't have the guns and stuff in the extras sets, but is a fairly close equivalent if you want a robot for the Genesis range.

Also, from what I recall, Girl 6 doesn't require Victoria 6, just the Genesis 2 base model which you already have for free.

I actually have the Bot for Genesis and the Both version of the Bot Armor. And I was not thinking about converting The Girl 6 but that's good to know.

I have Gen2F Clone for Genesis by Sickle. It is very useful. Sure, one can try to create clones on their own, but why would you bother?

I have the female clone from Sickle also...I can vouch for it working really well. As to why would you bother...copyright issues for example if you want to create a genesis to Dawn or vice versa clone. Neither of these can be done without approval of the copyright owners. So you have to make your own.

In regards to the original product that sparked this thread...has anyone tried/bought the uv conversion sets. I'm very interested in them and would like to see some more info/images prior to buying.
The image below was autofitted using Sickle's clone. As you can see no distortion but some of that is also due to the good modelling of Shifting Images. Autofit works best with items that are well modelled...

I haven't tried shoes...I don't own a lot of Gen2 content at the moment. I will have a go later and post it. I'm about to go out with my granddaughter for the morning. Any particular type of shoe you were interested in? High? Low heeled?

The problem with shoes that I've encountered has mainly been when the shoe is not welded together. Will have a look and post as soon as I get chance.

I've had many problems auto-fitting boots and just regular shoes.
