I keep looking at this HG-1 Gunship and would love to have it in my runtime, but im a DS user.

So my question is, if i REALLY wanted to use this model in DS (DS2.3 that is), is there anything i could do to make it so?

Is it as simple as loading it into Bryce and exporting it as an .OBJ to used like any other .OBJ in DS?

I have this item, and I tried selecting it in Bryce then tried sending it across the bridge to DS a few times (File > "Send to DAZ Studio"). Your mileage may vary. The first time it started DS but just didn't seem to send anything, the second time it failed to start DS and gave an error message, but on the third try it sent it. I tried again on the 64-bit PC and got the error message on one try, but it sent it on the 2nd try. Once there, I had to make adjustments in the Surfaces(Color) pane; for example, the diffuse color was set to less than 1% so it looked black and had to be raised to 100%, plus it had added odd diffuse colors (bright yellow, bright red, etc) in addition to using an image file, and those look like they need to be changed to white. The windows I had to raise the ambient strength. You'll also have to mess with the bump settings, it doesn't look like it does in Bryce, and overall the color or lighting is just a bit different so it doesn't look the same.

Summary: It looks like it may not look identical, but it can be used, but it will take some minor time and effort to convert to a useable state.

I decided it wasnt worth price, time, and effort involved and moved on to another easily usable ship.

    Thanks,
