How to use MY ACCOUNT > MESSAGES??

If I need to message a PA/vendor, I know how to message via the forums, but how do I use the Messages function on the drop-down menu at the top right (eg: little blue "person" symbol you click on for login)?

 

If I click on this these doesn't seem to be any way to actually USE it or to send a message.

    Those are for receiving messages.

    From the 'blue person' icon, he Messages option is for seeing the site messages, such as the colured banners that are used from tiem to time). If you want to send a Message to someone in the forums, you need to either find a posy by them and click on their name on the left (under their avatar), or click on the 'settings cog' icon and pick Inbox

    Normally comments to a PA, if not sent via a PM - as described above - are done by sending a help ticket as Daz 3d handles the CS for the PA products.
