Where to find figure geometry

I had to do a complete re-install due to an upgrade to my computer and have been having trouble locating some items ever since. Hence the question - I bring up an old file, the item I am looking for is saved there (at least partially) but where is this item located? Say for example a tree or building, it is a small part of a larger set that I would like to locate, but I can not figure out where to find the "geometry." (Looking for example in My Library/Runtime/Geometries . . . can't seem to find it there.) I have tried right-clicking on the figure, looking in parameters etc etc . . . how can I figure out where the object is located?

Geometry of items saved in DS format is located in the "data" folder.
"My Library/Runtime/Geometries" is only used for Poser content and the geometry for those items is stored as OBJ files.
The geometry of DS items is stored in "My Library/Data" inside DSF or DSO files. Can not give you more accurate address as there are tens of thousands of subfolders and unless you know the creators name and the file structure he/she uses. You can try searching it with keywords you know that are related to the item.
