New to DS4.6/Genesis 2-smart content won't let me look at previous gen clothes to autofit

I'm in the process of installing a bunch of stuff on a new computer, and decided to take a moment and play with the autofit function for Genesis 2, since my old computer barely ran DS 4.5 with original Genesis and I certainly couldn't get it to play nice with Genesis and DS4.6. I have the Genesis 2 essentials and Genesis 1 Essentials bundles installed. I wanted to try and put the Genesis 1 Magnus shirt on G2F so I could get a feel for how autofit works now, but since I loaded G2F, this stupid program won't even SHOW clothes for other figures. What am I doing wrong?

Smart Content will only show items that relate to your selected item, so you need to unselect G2F and then hunt down the genesis clothing.

You are not doing anything wrong. Smart Content will only show items that are compatible with the model you selected in the Scene pane. To autofit the Genesis 1 clothes to Genesis 2, find the outfit in the Content Library pane instead. You can locate it by product or installed folder or category. You can also use the search to look for it. Product is easiest for me. Then select Genesis 2 in the Scene Tab and double click on the clothing item in the Content Library pane. The autofit dialog will pop up. In the autofit dialog select that the supported item was for Genesis 1 and select the type of item it is (shirt, pants, etc.)

Autofit is built in to DS4.6. Don't install any old autofit plugins you might see in the DAZ Store.
