Ok, so after fighting with it quite a bit, I was able to upload some more images. Sometimes the Post Image button worked, sometimes it didn't, with no reasons that I could see. Very strange.
I'll see if I can upload tomorrow, and let you know.

I am glad the links to the products I have used are now appearing under my images.
Though it's not a fix, you can just use Google.
Put " site:https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/ " and whatever keyword.
For example with "ninja" (then go to image search)
You should be able to change your gallery image via 'Edit' mode and you can see then you have a drop down menu to move images around to different galleries, something that wasn't available before.
Only as partial workaround, of course. Will always be inferior indexing and less flexible than native in-site search.
Overall, I am pleased that a gallery is back. It is actually one of the things that inspires and drives me personally to produce work. I appreciate the work that has gone into it but I do hope that some changes will be considered. Perhaps some form of Beta testing with community folks might be helpful going forward as it can get harder to bolt changes onto things when released.
Now we have had a few days playing with it, I have a few more things I wanted to add. I don't dislike the way of putting the pictures in (when it works!) but the interface is quite clunky. It would be better for there to be a list of genres to be there rather than guessing what they might be. When adding content, the names of thew whole items cannot always be seen (an issue when so many have similar names!) The chance to delete these and make changes to anything selected would be good. Also, it might be my screen, but the whole edit area shifts across when adding items, so you cannot see the description box or anything on the left of it. I do like the items used appearing. Thumbnails - nuff said! I do like the idea of adding multiple pictures in one page - it should allow the work in progress to be seen developing or allow for people to get feedback on which of several styles are preferred.
On that note, though, it is very difficult to keep track of any conversations or messages. Short of searching every picture you have left a message on or checking your own work regularly, it is currently not possible. Please can we have the option to have notifications for messages to us or on our work? Note I say option because I know there are some incredibly busy people who may not want to engage due to the sheer number of messages - but some people do. The feedback from people has been so useful to help develop my work and the kind words have helped motivate me through some interesting times!
In the gallery, like many people, I want to have the option to see the newest work as default. I tend to look at the the popular/trending things maybe once a week. As said before, the pictures at the top of all gallery screens are way too big - I would rather see more of them but smaller. I can always click on them if I want. Also like others, I personally prefer pictures opening in a new tab. I also quite like the idea of having the chance to choose to follow certain artists. Again, it's quite clunky as is, as you have to find the artisit by chance.

Does anybody know how to remove images from an album, or move images from one album to another? I can see the "edit" mode, but it doesn't appear to do anything...like it won't let me just drag and move images around like I could with the old gallery.
Also, does anybody know how to use the crop feature to change a thumbnail?
I had to remove the image I wanted to change album for, also noticed that while I did remove it from there (root) and it isn't in the actual album, the album thumbnail still shows it :/

I agree, the new gallery has some browsing annoyances. In addition:
- I don't want to see the top row popular thumbs on page 2 or thereafter. The old gallery didn't shove them in my face on every page.
- I don't like you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page, to go to page 2. I liked the right side arrow click of the old gallery to advance the page.
- I don't like that right-click on gallery thumb link was removed. Sometimes I want to right-click on a thumb to go to its link.
When I look at my gallery, page 1 of my Root Gallery is always empty. Page 2 and on have images. Why is page 1 empty?
Go to your Gallery, then to the image in question----> Edit and on the right side you see this in the picture i added here, ther you can choose the gallery in which you want to move the picture!
PS: When done don't forget to save it !
No, no error message. I have a posting in the old gallery and that shows up, but the new one I made in the new one hasn't showed up. I thought abut that it might not been an immediate posting as well, and waited a few days. But it still isn't there. I will try again, but if it doesn't post again, then there is something wrong with it.
Edit: I tried it again and this time it posted. However, in order to test it, I didn't have as long a description. Is there set character limit on the description? I didn't get a warning or error stating so, but as far as I know, that was the only thing I did different between this posting and the first time I tried.

I did this, but now the image is showing in both galleries...the one I wanted to move it to, and still in the one I wanted to move it from.
That's the same problem I had, and ended up having to delete my image and re-upload it. The problem is, that while it is no longer in the wrong folder on the album cover one caouls (and still can) see that image even when it was deleted. Hopefully that will be fixed soon, since I doubt one can remove the Root Gallery without inviting a Lot of trouble
I can't crop / change my image thumbnail. Is anybody else having the same problem?
EDIT: I see now everyone is having the same issue.
Maybe they have eliminated the search because they have lost the images prior to the reform.
Merging with main gallery thread (and as far as I know all old images are still there, as a cursory glance should confirm - if you have lost images then it might be necessary to open a support ticket).

Same. The image stays in the root gallery. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. I ended up deleting the root gallery. I never use the root so it's always an empty folder for me anyway. Not sure if that will mess things up or not. Shrug. I guess I'll find out if I get an error the next time I upload and image and the root gallery isn't there.

Sorry, I thought from your post that you were trying to get to that specific image.
I agree that without search facilities the gallery is very much lacking - I hope they may re-instate the search options before too long.

It is a pity that after such a long time without a gallery, they present an incomplete version.
The switch between comments and products has been suggested. IDK what they will decide on that though so it may stay how it is.
The other issue (with tags, categories, and products and not being able to remove one if you make a mistake without removing all the ones after it), has been reported.
Can you post a link to your gallery for me so I can take a look at that.
