Dreamy Feathers

hi ^^
anyone here working on DAZ (4.6) has tried out jonnte's Dreamy Feathers, from Rendo?
the product is for poser, not officially tested in DAZ, creator isn't sure about compatibility, no comments from DAZ buyers.
since it's feathers, feather fans actually, it's not the kind of material i'm too eager to try reproducing through fumbling in the surface panel if the poser material doesn't look good in DAZ... and unlike other items i've bought (like Epifani, complex poser shaders), not much point in re-inventing the material or improvising, i want that exact feather look ~

on a side note - i'd be happy to find an exact explanation how to read poser material files, so that i know what the creator intended by reading the file in notepad++, instead of trying to reproduce a look optically by comparing the original promo renders to my objects in DAZ until it "kinda looks the same". i found a few tuts and bits & pieces of information here and there, but not a complete, clear listing...

thankful for any info! ^^ (btw feathers are on sale for 3 more days, i'd be happy to have feedback before, not after, lol ~)

well it says texture maps so I suspect it should be fine in DS
procedural materials usually only an issue
still weighing up if I want to buy them to find out

thanks for your opinion! ^^. i suspected so too - with a little doubt about if textures are included in a package, they might be used in the complex shaders - but the way the promo pix look, and very similar from one color to the other, it seems just plain texture maps. the fire one maybe not. i'm not very good yet at adjusting specular, bump etc from poser materials to make them dazzable though, i just don't have "the eye" (actually, i never noticed something was wrong, maybe just a bit weird, before i read about it, lol), nor good knowledge of the differences P/D. so next to the "is it compatible at all" i also hoped there isn't too much to fumble with. besides, i got stuck once with poser hair where the textures worked fine... but the dials were stuck! luckily meanwhile i read about pmd and got Kuroyume's morph exchanger.
still, the more i know about the products i see, the more i can make a founded decision. even for 5$ ^^
