still having problems letting go Daz?

11:23 ------ 18,843,704k of ram still in use (program closed earlier)
11:56 ------ 13,623,360k of ram still in use
---
I could comtemplate that my system has issues if my cpus were running their little hearts out trying to clear the stuff... but 16 cores available for daz to use and the heavist usage bounces up to 17% and that's only on a couple cores
---
As noted with the daz 8 figures... they program seems to have issues with handling data
maybe the next 'update" should be to the internal structure of the program?
---
If I force quit, but that's not recommended because I could screw up my data and can't open another 415 until this one is done dumping ... So another hour before I can work again?
---
I have no problem being amazed at a lot of the capabilites of the program but implemation seems to be a major issue.
But I wonder how much 8 bit code is buried inside ...
12:09 down to 11,726,656k left.
---
and the scene only takes about 40 minutes to render on my titanX.
---
I guess my daz money will go towards ssds and cards and a lot to things other than models.
And yes, Photoshop can save and release a 1 gig hdri in 20 seconds.
3d max can close in 20 secs...
Only one program having these issues.

My understanding is that the Daz Studio core can only use 2 threads. Although other parts of Daz Studio can use more.
This is now becoming a major limitation within Daz Studio, the more content you have in your libraries the longer it take to open saves and load assets. The more complicated your scenes I guess the slower the viewport is, my scenes are never that complicated.
More memory and SSD drives although helpful do not resolve the problem, even NVMe SSDs, believe me I've tried.
Best Wishes
Steve.
