I want to uninstall PP2012 but...

So, I'm just making sure, before I do, that I am not going to lose any important data.
I have my pp2012 content folder linked to my pp2014 library
I do NOT want to lose ALL of the crap I have. I have a lot of crap. A lot.
If I uninstall pp2012 is it going to delete the content folder? Or can I just do it anyway?

    you could change the folder name first in case

    I save my runtimes and back them up, so I can then just link to them in Poser as external runtimes.

    It only removes the program. It don't remove any of the folders
