Hi all I am about Migrate in a few weeks from a really old version poser(6) and Daz studio( 2.3) on OSX.
To a new win7 PC and Daz Studio 4.x and Genesis
Although I have read the DS4 FAQ
I still have a few questions:
1).I Assume I get a genesis "base"model free with DS
what do I need to get a "Fully morphing" genesis Male& Female?
2). I have some old V4 morphs ++ figure face morphs that I like.
will I have to recreate them from scratch with genesis?
3). Am I correct in assuming that any really old Daz Figures such as Mike 2 will not be able to be opened in DS 4.x even if saved as a DS scene from my old version of DS 2.3??
Thats it for now
thanks in advance.

Answering Question 1 You get the original Genesis free and also Genesis 2, which has 2 variants G2F and G2M.
Both will benefit from the morph packages. which are
http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-evolution-morph-bundle
http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-male-s-morphs-bundle
http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-morphs-bundle
2) Three options:
a) you can keep using V4, of course
b) recreate the morph with Genesis
c) if you buy http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x2 and http://www.daz3d.com/v4-and-m4-shapes-for-genesis you can transfer the morphs directly to Genesis
3) Mike2, etc., and scenes created in DS2.3 all still work in DS4
Many thanks to you both !!
it seems this will be a painless transition.
