Background picture wont rotate 90%; it rotates 180 instead

Hello, ive managed to load an image into the background of my scene using the "enviroment" pane. But the image gets rotated once loaded 90%.

When I try to rotate the image 90% back, it does rotate but it goes 180%.

I assume this is some issue with the size of my image and my scene..

How do I make this work?

    Is the operating system rotating the image? Which way up is it in a file browser showing thumbnails?

    No, the image is still showing as properly oriented when viewed in windows explorer or when viewed in any other image viewer.

    I even tried rotating the image 90% before loading it into the enviroment as a background and, once added, it does not rotate it.

    So, it seems like Daz Studio just wants it to be in that orientation. im using the latest version.
