Not yet ready for G8.1 can this be used on regular G8 https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-lynx-steampunk-armor-for-genesis-81-females ?  In compatible figures it mentions G8f but in the description it just talks about G8.1

  • Yep, totally works on G8! This is on Kaneda 8 with the girl 8's materials. I didn't even realize it said it was for 8.1 until your post. I think this is an awesome outfit.

If you bring it into Blender and weight paint the helmet/hat thing, you can simulate the hair to move because it's all together. In Daz, if you want your own hair, just turn the cutout opacity off on the hair in the surface tab.

Thank you for the answer, I did not notice the 8.1 either until it was in my cart, so I thought I should find out before I purchased

Shouldn't be adding a dForce weight node to the helmet/hair, then using the Geometry Editor to mark the hair and adding a weight setup make it possible for the hair to move? At least that would my first attempt to get it done, as I don't own Blender (like probably most of the DAZ users...)

And as You seem to own that outfit: is that appendix to the belt supposed to move? (see this post)
