Creating custom Makeup styles
Hello All,
I am trying to recreate a character from the Star Wars universe and while I have the overall look down, what I want to do is to also recreate the makeup on the characters face/head since the character is very identifyable by that feature. This is the character I want to do:
Now, what would would be the best way to go about this. Do I create a Layer or a material for this? I know the latter loads faster, but doesn't allow changes readily, but that isn't a big deal as the character always wears this makeup scheme. A layer is easily removed without affecting the face, but I am assuming it is more work to do. Overall, I don't know how to do that in Daz and I believe an outside photo editor will probably have to come into play. I have tried this method before to change the color of an existing makeup pattern, but the results weren't to my expectation as it seems the skin surface settings affect the layered image. Here the exact color isn't as important to me as long as it is a shade of blue or purple.
Currently I have used existing makeup in my library to do the eye area, but I would like to do the area by the mouth and also the sides of the head.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Geo
