Where to download the strand based hair app

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed Daz Studio Pro 4.10 Pro but it seems there is no icon to make strand Based Hair .

Can you please tell me how find or install piece I need to make Strand based hair.

    in 4.15 it's in the create menu, I'm not sure about 4.1

    How did you even download 4.10.x.x? The daz servers offer only 4.15.0.x at this time, and unlike 4.10 they do have the Strand Based Hair tools.

    Strand based hair editor is built in DS, but it was introduced in DS 4.11. There's no way to use it in 4.10.

    Yikes, Where do I find the proper version of DS to download?

    I believe I downloaded it from my product page. "Daz Studio 4.x Pro"

    Where do I find the correct version to download.

    If you downloaded it from your product library today you should have 4.15, which is the latest version.

    Unless she used DIM and you can download previous versions through that, because I have.

    Richard Hastline explained how to do it when I had to downgrade, I remember I had to go to a different section and check something and I think I had to type in a search. I don't have DIM on my computer now so can open it to look and tell you. Best option is to message Richard or put of a thread with the question. In the meantime I will see if I can find my thread asking him.

    Sorry Wendy, I search all the pages showing my threads and I didn't find the information.

    You can install previous versions with DIM if you have a backup of the download file, but certainly not download an older version.
