Can anyone explain what PostgreSQL is and why is there so many windows in the background when I start Daz Studio? I noticed this because sometimes I must use Task Manager to make sure Daz Studio has closed completely before restarting the program.

    PostgreSQL is the database system used by the Content Management System in Daz Studio. Basically it's where the metadata used by Smart Content are stored.

    And it's normal to have several postgresql threads running when it's in use.
