I'm dizzy and its only day 2. How can anyone figure all this buy this + this, and maybe this, and who knows what the final price should be anyway? The PC+ for a day thing is saving my sanity.

another thing. It appears if you don;t buy something from the new stuff, the discounts are less or non-existent on this march madness?
Also, i got a banner for Blender bridge products, but it appears that is a deal not associated with MM?
    too confusing.

I'm still waiting to hear from support about my missing 15% from last weekend's promo. I wish I didn't have to depend on the Chrome extension to verify my purchases.

Without buying new stuff you still get the "1 at 40% off and 2 or more at 50% off" on related mad or mad artists, which is what we usually get for MM.

I ran your account through the sale tracer that we have on our end, and it is definitely showing the 15% discount being applied to products.

Thanks, DAZ_Rawb! It looks like it's working (for what I can tell). Much appreciated!

I'm curious about this for my account also.  I made the required $ amount purchase and received the additional 15% off my weekend purchase.  I tried a couple of PC+ yesterday, and received the 15% off of them.  Today, the PC+ for a Day receive .15 cents off not 15% off.  I also tried putting a couple wishlist products that are full priced in my cart (Dirty Dishes and Materia) and their price only receives a 5% discount.

I've only tried it on PC+ - I haven't had the time to go back and check the new releases.

Is it just the 50% (2 x new releases) + 15% (sale from last weekend) + 10% (purchased the key item)? Am I missing anything else?

I think DAZ Math is rather like the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, where anyone who learns the real truth about the universe and all the horrible things in it goes helplessly insane. There are probably asylums somewhere full of people going "No, no, I understand it all now, it's 40% of 30%, plus the PC+ discount and the orange banner makes 49.5%, but only on Tuesdays during March." And the staff just shake their heads sympathetically and give them another shot of sedative to help keep the nightmares under control.

The spaces inhabited by the horrors in Lovecraft's work are always "non-Euclidean", and if we know anything about DAZ Math, it's that it's probably non-Euclidean.

Remember according to the "New Math" being taught 1+2=3 but 2+1 doesn't

"New Math" was taught starting in the 50s through to the 70s, so I'm not sure what the point is here.

I never learned this strange stuff, and I was in school from '59 through '71.  I've seen some of the things they're teaching lately, and it's more than new, it's disturbing and convoluted.  I was never taught that 2+1 does not equal 3!

well, for large values of 1, 1 approaches 2. But remember that this is only valid for small values of 2. So, sometimes, 1+1 can be 4.

  • DanaTADanaTA Posts: 13,263

This is nonsense!  1 is 1.  2 + 1.75  > 3.  But 2 + 1 = 3.  Large values of 1?  This sounds like something an advertising marketing person would try to convince me of.

Most of today's new releases don't have the "NEW" label in the store: https://www.daz3d.com/shop/

There is a new discount code available today which gives extra discount for items which are not PC+ and not new. Is there a way to search for these items?

  • jakibluejakiblue Posts: 7,281

from what i can see, it's just any item that is not new or PC or gift cards.

Because I already own Celani 8, I got a banner that I can select one other female from the presented list of DO's and add a coupon code at checkout WOMANS-DAY2021. That coupon code does not work at all. All I get is "Coupon code is not valid"

  • Are today's Mad Related Items just the items in the carousel? I'm not seeing a View All Items link below the carousel.
