Line mesh to help visualise contours...

Hi all.
As a traditional artist also, I'm trying to find out if anyone is aware of a line type texture for use on a Daz model (preferably Aiko but not essential) to help visualize the basic flow of contours...?
The attached image shows line style on the mannequins from a different piece of software, which is not available in the outside of Japan.
Rendering in the Daz mesh view I find to be too much, and if the model is not zoomed in very close, the mesh just becomes a bit of a mess in detailed areas (hope that makes sense).
Thanks in advance for any help,
Kev

One alternative would be to create the grid on the texture in your image editing program and use it that way. You can always load the real texture after you get the posing done.
If you open up the image file for the mannequins grid texture, how are they UV mapped? Plannar or pelt mapped?
It might be easier to create a grid texture with guidelines (the center head/torso guides and the limb guides) by taking the obj file into a UV mapper and creating a plannar mapped obj. Save the obj under a new name and save the uv map. Edit the cr2 file and save the edited cr2 under a new name. You can create the grid texture with guides in an image editor that supports layers (GIMP is free). The remapped version would allow you to make and save poses for the figures you need them for.
UV mapper classic is free and will create plannar mapped obj's and save uv's.
Snowsultan has a bunch of seam guide sets. Just paint the red lines on there. http://www.snowsultan.com/3.html
