Daz 4.15 on older Mac OS - High Sierra

Has anyone installed Daz 4.15 on a Mac ruuning High Sierra 10.13.6 ? I have an older Mac Pro 2010 that I cant upgrade further and I'm stuck there and with NVidia Web Driver 387.10.10.10.40.139 - currently I have Daz 4.11.0.383 64bit running and everything works fine Iray renders etc. I'm hesitant to try and upgrade and I worry rendering will stop working.

Dforce crashes the Mac also and I would love to get that working but dont want to destroy a working setup either. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would suggest installing the beta (or the general release if you currently use the beta) if you want to test it. That way you'll still have your current version (beta and general release installs are independant) in case it doesn't work well enough.

  • Thats a good suggestion - thanks. Are we sure there are no common file sthat could get stomped? With Iray versions in particular?

There are no common files between the beta and general release, even the preferences, layout or temp folders aren't shared.
