Riversoft Art Converters not loading

I purchased and installed mulitple Riversoft Character Converters and every one of them fails to load. One thing I nocticed is when I go to the file location of the files, none of the even genric files will open, such as the PDF manual or image files. They say they are of unknown format.  Other products installed today (not RiverSoft Art) all open fine.

    Did you install from inside Daz Studio? If so, uninstall and install with the Daz Install Manager (DIM) instead.

    Thanks for the reply. I did install inside DAZ.  What is it with this software assist management. Three versions to install and no version to recover. Their poorly tested DazCentral tried to update DAZ Studio, without my permission and wiped out their poorly designed database. The only recovery was my computer spending 3 days around the clock re-downloading assists even so the all the files were still there.  In now have been using Cinema 4D because you get what you pay for and got the converters to update some models. 
    I'll have to lookup on how you uninstall an assist, haven't had to do that before nor don't understand why the app itself is the source of the problem, on this product yet not on others.

    Connect installs in a very different way than DIM so some scripts and plug-in cannot be installed with.  Central is a dumbed down version of DIM and IMO DAZ needs to drop it and put out a good instruction sheet for using DIM for new users.
