Hi, I picked up the future tech brush set here: http://www.daz3d.com/future-tech-brushes

In the promo art, there was a subtle grid used as background fill which looks like stripes. I'm is also used in the second promo image. This looks very good and is one of the reasons I picked up the set... But I don't see a brush that can do this or a brush which can make the red geometric pattern surrounding the holographic computer image?

Just curious if I'm missing something...

Thanks

Those are normally called scanlines. What app do you use? Creating them can either be very simple, or very roundabout, depending on the features of the app you use.

The way I know of (photoshop) is creating a square with a transparent background, fill the top half with black, and leave the bottom half as transparent. Set this as a pattern, and do a pattern fill using this pattern on it's own layer.

Yes, those are scanlines. Vaskania's suggestion will work well. You can simply make a 1 pixel by 2 pixel image in photoshop, make the top one black and the bottom one white, and set it as a pattern over your image. Set the blend mode to either screen or multiply, and tinker with it from there to get the results you want.

    Thanks and hope this helps!
