Unusually long char selection time
When I try to select a char and its children, the time is very long.
I already signalled the problem some weeks ago, but no solution was proposed. So I uninstalled D|S 4.13, removed the roaming dir to be sure and cleared all assets :( Then I installed D|S 4.15 with a minimal amount of assets, but the problem remains. There is a small improvement though. The time was 30mn+ and it has dropped to ~10mn. But it is too long make the program usable.
It happens whenever I click on a char and RightClick>select children. Even if, with my current config, I only have G8F essential installed and the g8F is naked and has her eyebrows removed. Weirdly, when I click on her hip and select children, the time is normal (1-2 s) even though the hip is the only child of the char.
The computer is with 8 proc, 32GB memory and 6 months old. I can add that besides DS, I have very few things on my computer (maybe firefox, gimp, ffmpeg and a text editor), as I prefer to use my linux box.
I must say that I really do not know how to deal with the problem, and presently DS is unusable.
If anyone has an advice on how I could determine where the problem comes from and how I could fix it, I would really really appreciate.

Yes, I launch DS, load a g8F, (eventually remove her eyebrows), select her and right click>select children. The effect is the same directly on the char or in the scene tab. And DS is irresponsive for 10mn...

I did that and the log file remains empty :(
Ia also restarted DS and loaded a char and the only error/warning messages that I got were not really significant.
At launch time
while loading a char, no warning
(and yes, I meant her eyelashes!)

I checked and all is on the default location. Actually, I suppressed roaming dir, just to be sure to have a clean install, and it resets all to factory default.
I will submit a ticket (but the technical tickets are much slower to be processed than sales ones...).
Indeed, DS worked very well on this computer after its initial install and there is no reason that this is a HW related problem. But, at some point there was a problem (a bug, a wrong move, I dont know). What is weird is that the problem remains after a full reinstall (but maybe my reinstall was not full enough).
(I use frequently select all in a char for animations. It is the best (only?) way to add a keyframe, and presently I mostly (try to) do anims.)
Thanks for your help.
