Sale ended early?

A load of items that were in the Mega Mayhem sale last night seem to have dropped out of it this morning.

For example, if you go to http://www.daz3d.com/pa-sale-2014 , you'll see that SHIFTINGIMAGES supposedly has 9 items in the sale. Click through to their store and you see only three at a discount. Others, like the medieval morphing dress, were discounted last night but full price this morning (UK time).

Is anyone else seeing this?

    Yep, same here.
The prices reset at midnight UTC. No doubt this was just an error, and it'll be rectified as soon as someone gets into the office.

Yeah, I kind of agree with everyone here, only because I had accidentally purchased a Carrara-only hair and submitted a ticket to get my $5 back. I was hoping to use that store credit to maybe get a Morph Resource Kit or another hair I've had on my wishlist for a while, but I logged on to see I was mistaken... :blank:

Yes, this is very unfortunate, but I have confidence the good folks at DAZ will fix this situation. :) And if not, well, the PC sale will be starting soon.

Ugh, when is the staff going to get here already? I can't sleep without knowing what's going on, and it's nearly impossible for me to focus on anything else >:(

You're all acting as if it is something unusual that a DAZ Sale turns whamboodle at the midnmight-strike of the clock...
Sadly, it's an almost daily occurence that some thing or another will get messed up at turnover. :coolmad:
Where have you been the last year? :P

    *runs for cover*

    No offense meant. :-)

Staff should be there in about 6 hours or so...

But seriously, it's one of these problems with DAZ store and sale change at midnight. It's rather annoying that they don't do something about it, like, sale-changeover at noon their time, or at 9 am their time, when someone is in the office and can look at the thing properly.
I mean, it's not that hard to implement some quality saving measures which keep your customers happy and coming back, and trusting the shop. Unfortunately, DAZ doesn't really seem to care much about these things, or they would've done something about it long ago.

It's been reported - however, as it's been said, will most likely be rectified in the morning :)

Does that mean we can continue screaming, hollering, and wringing our hands until then? ;-)

Waiting over. They seem to have fixed it now. Edited
Thought it was probably cock-up rather than conspiracy, but wanted to check it was Daz cocking up rather than me.

Mind you, maybe it WAS a conspiracy to remind us how much more expensive all the lovely stuff in our wishlists is going to be tomorrow, and to inspire us to buy it now. It may be working in my case...

It was more like refreshing every few seconds and pacing back and forth from one forum to the other for a good half hour for me.

Glitches at DAZ Midnight is a pretty common occurrence. General rule of thumb is to make sure you are checking out at least 15 minutes before DAZ Midnight. That way you can be sure DAZ and the card approval all have time to get communicate.

If for some reason have to wait until the other side of DAZ Midnight and the prices go wonky, let one of the admins or mods know and then wait a bit. Sometimes it get's fixed quickly, occasionally, you have to wait for them to make it into the office. Yesterday was a Federal Holiday (government, courts and banks closed) but not generally one of the standard office closing holidays so I don't think they were out.
