Celebrate Black Women/Men Picks...

...by throwing 6 old (with the exception of Trance) products together and pricing them almost similar to a Pro Bundle? Yikes!
I generally like the idea of a themed bundle for this occasion, but why no new products, especially for 8.1?

Even Trance is an old release. He was part of the Michael 8.1 Varsity bundle. Two very underwhelming bundles, indeed. Plus a ridiculous discount. As I own all but one items from the black male bundle, I get a gracious discount that makes the bundle only about $19, when the item I still don't have is $14. A real bargain...
Ah, missed out Trance as I did not get the Michael 8.1 bundles. But guess that his discount as DAZ original will be fixed later on.
They waiting march madness .
I already have all the Black Woman items, so I get to buy the bundle for $18.81. Yay??
Of the Black Man items, I already have 2 out of 6 (Short Afro Hair and Silas 8), so that one would now cost me $49.77.
I've bought brand new pro-bundles including addons for that amount in what now seems like a distant past..
There's probably a reason why I didn't buy those items before though.. Like.. Maybe I'm not too interested in these items? Or I'm simply waiting for the one or two items that do somewhat interest me to show up in Fast-grab?
Oh yeah, the two bundles combined would cost me $54.87, which seems more interesting, if I didn't already have 3/4th of the contents.
Maybe we'll also have Celebrate White People or Celebrate Latinos bundles sometime? I wonder how those will fare.
Sorry but Daz seems to just be trying to make new content with old one since some time.
I have 4 of the items in the male bundle and they are offering me 20% off - at $62.21 for 2 items its much cheaper to buy the items separately. Honestly why do they treat us as if we are stupid its insulting.
ask your wallet .
You own 66% of the bundle, so we'll give you 40% off. Seems legit.
Thank you Daz, so generous! 70% off of two bundles that I own 100% of. What a deal.
Sorry but this would have been a wonderful chance to introduce new 8.1 characters that reflect the diversity of the African Americans we have in America and highlight the new skin shader.
I agree it seems a bit odd to give a discount when the whole bundle, even discounted, is more than the separate products - but at least it reminds you of the separate items, and since you obviously like related stuff perhaps you will want to buy one of the last few now (says he with all bar one of each bundle). However, if the bundle isn't tempting for you walk on by - surely few of us can afford tot ake advantage of every offer made, even if the prices were good.
I own the whole men's bundle and almost all the women's bundle, and it's way cheaper to buy the individual products. I'm not going to anyhow at this time.
It's really kind of weird they couldn't bother to release one new product. I guess that's why they call it History month.
I own all the items in the male bundle and got an offer of 70% off the bundle. Tempting but I'll pass.
how long does DAZ stay at lunch?
I would have liked to see a Black history bundle with some characters that look more like they belong in a classroom, court, or lab than a sports stadium. Maybe even some historical figures: MLK 8.1?
I would've loved to see new characters, and the bundle pricing is weird, which is disappointing because partnering with Sowl Studios is really cool and I love Solomon Jagwe's YouTube channel for Daz and 3D stuff. Maybe it's just something that came together quickly without time for new items, but if so I hope next year they plan further out to support Black History Month the way they did Pride 2020.
I hope they take it a step further and do special bundles for certain months that recognize other ethnicities or cultures. For as much grief as I give Daz -and I have given them lots of it-, they are slowly -and I mean slowly- coming around to the fact it's 2021 and not 2011 anymore in terms of what's appropriate, diversity, inclusion, etc.
That is an excellent suggestion. I would love more characters that don't look like models/actors/anime characters (read airbrushed skin, pancake or weird makeup with no real world alternatives) that come from all the different ethnicities/cultures in our wonderful world, in an assortment of age ranges and income levels. There are a few in Genesis 8, and now I look forward to what skins come out in Genesis 8.1.
