Movie Maker plugin

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

Anyone have any comments about this? Sounds interesting but I'm still learning the basics of studio - because I'd much rather do everything in bryce. It's too bad they couldn't add these sorts of features to bryce.

it does not say if it works with DS4 and the link to the support page is dead.
The developer is Dreamlight, you can Private Message him here
The package appears to be a collection of 2D high-res art, not any models.

It is only for DS3 and never been updated for DS4+. I believe this http://www.daz3d.com/draagonstorm/animated-textures-script-for-daz-studio is the same type of thing, but don't quote me as I don't do animations.

it looks like they may have come out with an update
    http://basic3dtraining.com/shop/movie-maker-daz-studio/

and it is currently 20% off.

I wanted to know if the software would be worthwhile for the hobbyist.

I purchased it. I'm also a hobbyist. I also purchased the Maestro training to make my own sets. Now, whether this will actually work in the long run, I have no idea. Taking a flyer on it basically.

Unfortunately, I'm still going through some of my library and Yosemite changes right now, so I haven't had time to do anything with it. Plus, I still need to watch Maestro training videos, so it might be a while before I'm ready.
