Faces of People who do not exist ... just keep refreshing the page :-)

Some of the faces generated could make for morphing resources in Face Transfer, etc.

It's impressive and convincing. But sometimes it makes people with improbably high foreheads or crazy eyes: https://i.imgur.com/YJYWgPd.png And sometimes it goes completely off the rails: https://i.imgur.com/61X8lwv.png The pretty faces are nice, but the bad results are more entertaining. The kids are precious though.

    Also check this out: www.artbreeder.com

Uses the same technology but with user input. It can also merge art styles.

This tech is impressive but presently it can't be used for production. For instance you would need several face angles to get a proper reference to do a 3D sculpt of a face, and GANs can only generate single views. I believe that in a few years we'll be able to get full 3D, AI-generated realistic faces. It's going to be great.

I didn't know n that there was a shortage of made-up faces at Daz.

  • There is a bit of a shortage of 'Normal People' rather than the 'Young, Tall, Beautiful, Females' who are so prevalent in DAZLand. There is an extraordinarily low ratio of short, overweight, balding, wrinkled, non-white males when compared to Planet Earth, too. The reasons for this are instantly understandable, but it is noticeable.

I have been watching film clips of streetlife from the 60's and earlier and it looks like DAZ people, not a fatty in sight, I would stand out like a sore thumb especially post war, they were rationed thin!
