Background/backdrop not working.

I tried using a sky jpeg as my background (an image I've used several times before). But it does not show up in the work screen or the render although visible in render is on. I'm rendering in 3Delight.

Any ideas?

EDIT: The image loads and renders when by itself, but when I load anything else into the scene (a prop for example) the background becomes plain black and will not change.

    This problem has started again. Still don't know why.

    There really isn't enough information to help. Is it any image or just certain ones? Does this happen even with trivial props loaded, like a one division cube primitive?

    Where are you placing the background/backdrop image  and which version of DazStudio are you using?

    It was a jpeg in the environment tab, using the background drop down menu to select the image. For some reason closing down Daz and restarting it resolved the issue. Strange.
