ZBrush and Skeletons?

I am working on a project that requires lots of custom morphs to be made and applied to Genesis. Since GoZ doesn't seem to work at all anymore, I have to export Genesis as an .obj, import it as a tool into ZBrush, and make a morph. However, once I import the morph into DAZ via Morphloader, it turns out that Genesis' skeleton is not changed when the mesh is changed in ZBrush. For example, I used ZBrush to stretch Genesis' palm. Now, back in DAZ, the skeleton for his fingers are protruding from his palm, and not at all aligned with the mesh. This means that at a neutral pose, Genesis' hand looks fine, but as soon as I try to bend his fingers/hand, they stretch out oddly and the mesh becomes corrupted.

Long story short: Is there any way to edit Genesis' skeleton while sculpting in ZBrush so that when imported into DAZ again, the morph doesn't corrupt the mesh?

What version of DS are you using? I am on 4.6.3.52 Pro 64 bit on Mac and GoZ works wonderfully well here for me. What are you encountering?

I'm using the same version. I made a thread earlier about GoZ not working correctly and I was told it was a known bug. It sends to ZBrush from DAZ just fine, but won't go from ZBrush back to DAZ. That's not really the problem I'm focusing on right now though, as there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it and I'm already too deep into alternate methods.

Apply your morph, at a setting of 1 (or 100%, depending on display settings) with no other morphs set.

Edit>Figure>Rigging>Adjust Rigging to Shape..., accept the defaults (though if you have changed the alignment of the bones as well as their size or position you may need to check the Adjust Orientation box too).

Check that the rigging does work now. If not you may need to use the Joint editor tool to move the centre/end points and to adjust alignment. Zero the pose (don't use restore figure or you will lose your changes to the rigging)

Right-click on the parameters pane and select edit Mode, assuming it isn't already in Edit mode.

Right-click on your morph's slider and select ERC Freeze....

In the dialogue your morph should appear as the controller, and there should be only adjustments to joint settings in the list or properties to be controlled. Assuming that's the case, click Accept.

Do a bit more testing, assuming all is well save your morph as a morph asset (or use Save Modified Assets and make sure only your morph is checked, if you'd already saved it).

Thank you so much! That works perfectly, no problems whatsoever. Thanks for taking the time to help me.
