Bedeviled poses for Torment 8.1 don't work on tail

KharmaKharma Posts: 3,214

as stated in the title, when I apply any pose from the Bedeviled/ Torment 8.1 folder to Torment 8.1 the character poses but the tail remains sticking straight out from the body, how do I make them work on the tail?

I am assuming either no one else purchased these poses, they've purchased but haven't tried them out, or they work for them... I guess I will have to file a ticket, altho my experience with the last one wasn't one I want to have again or I sill just return them and get my money back.  I am still disappointed in the lack of QA at this store now, it used to be so good back in the day.

Okay, it looks like the tail isn't moving like it should be.

I've gone ahead and filed a ticket for you regarding the problem with that set, so hopefully they'll be able to get that fixed soon. (And thank you for your patience, it does sometimes take a little while for changes to be made and then to work their way back through QA, that way something else doesn't get broken in the process).

@SBIbb thank you very much, I will wait a few days and see if there is an update to correct the tail issue.

@fred9803 After 16 years of being a member here I am very well aware of how tickets work , and I am only willing to wait a few days for them to fix my product.  If I have to wait longer than that I will return it and get my money back and use something else in my very extensive library ( over 8000 products) that does work.

Then you should be aware that in many cases it can take months and not days for tickets to be resolved, and that's being kind.

exactly my point!  I am not willing to wait for QA to get it together while my money is tied up in  a product that doesn't work and I can't use it, it should have worked at the release date.  If down the road I want to try that product again then I will purchase it again, if it still doesn't work I will return it. In the meantime I will spend my  money on a product that does work.  If they aren't held accountable broken products will continue to be released and  they  will continue to take months to fix them. it is their job and what they were hired to do.

    Precisely. Well said Kharma.

  • Hi all,

Thank you all for your comments, and SBIBB the ticket you sent. We have contacted the artist and are awaiting a fix for the product. Our QA team is rigirous and does it's best to keep up with broken product, and we appreciate when things get missed that we are told. Unfortunately, once an issue is found, we also have to wait for the artist to fix their product, so it's a two factor situation.

Again, thank you for your notification about this issue.

    Cheers,

    Kirsten

Well, but what about issues where the PA did supply a working product and DAZ has messed up? I have a ticket rotting in the support queue for two months now, where half of the product was not added to the metadata. Or issues where the PA has supplied a fixed product, but DAZ has rolled out the initial release file as a product update without any change in contents? I would expect DAZ to fix issues that DAZ can fix asap.

  • HI all,

The fix to the Bedeviled poses for Torment 8.1 is on it's way. The PA is working on them right now.

    Cheers,

    Thank you so much, Kirsten.

I had submitted a ticket reg. this matter a bit over a week ago never heard back, so I was considering a refund.

So glad to hear it will be fixed.

I have been a Product acceptance tester for another store and something like this would not have been overlooked and not gone into the store.

But I am glad that it will be fixed now and that I can finally use the product.

    Thank you :)

Thanks for the update Kirsten, I appreciate the time you took to let us know, tho I still feel this is something that should not have slipped past QA if they are doing their job
