Rendering multiple cameras of 1 scene.

Hi, I create single scene with many cameras as many as 30 or above. Because my output is like comic , I do prepare many scenes as well as many as 19 or above.

In this case I do, have trouble for printing all cameras(30 X 19 = 570).

I purhcased product below to automate consective project.

Batch Render for DAZ Studio 4 and RIB
https://www.daz3d.com/batch-render-for-daz-studio-4-and-rib

However, problem arises. Actual time consuming process is following. I need to save every single project that taget camera is selected.(so 570 project.)
I did this by my own and it is totally waste of time.

①Does any one know how to save projects from single scene, where each project has each camera selected?

or  ②Somehow manage to print all cameras within 1 scene?

Sincerely.

  • What do you mean by printing cameras?

Man Friday's Render Queue can produce a render from each visible camera in a scene and save them seperately if that's waht you're after.

  • another lovely limitation of DAZ studio is you cannot copy the view of one camera to another camera further along the timeline without it duplicating all the parameters of that camera on all the keyframes.

I do this in other software that will let you view stuff through any camera with another camera

I still haven't found an easy way to do this in DAZ studio short of typing every parameter out manually

as I do animations a batch renderer wouldn't be any use either

mjcasual has a few scripts that can help with moving cameras to/from the positions of others, which may be handy (you may have to create temp cameras to get the results you want).

he also has a script that lets you render a chosen series of frames from a list of cameras, which sounds exactly like what you want.

His collection of amazing free (donate!) scripts are at:

      https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts10/home/scripts

and he has a couple of 'move camera to here/there' type utils that are really handy.

and the specific multi-cam render script (I think it's what you want) is:

      https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts/camseq-for-ds-2-3

    (updated for DS4)

There was an animated textures script/plugin at Renderosity a while back that also had some multi-camera render sequencing as a feature, but I would guess that the age of it might be problematic with today's DS versions. You'd have to do some checking, assuming it's even on sale anymore, and be sure that it does what you're looking for.

    best,

When adding a camera select "Apply active viewport transforms".

This copies the current position of the selected camera, but doesn't add any other information.

As long as you select the keyframe it's added at, say 15, and move it, it won't animate either unless you change the keyframe.
