Early March Madness Sale

Do I have to spend $45 dollars on those select items to get a discount during march madness, or can I spend it on new releases?

I asked this same question and Richard said it didn't matter:

    Just to confirm:

    • both coupons only work on the list of items that shows up when you click the banner (even though no where does it say that)
    • the bonus 5/10/15% off only for those that spend the money using the coupons (i.e., If I spend $45+ on new releases in the store now, I wouldn't get the bonus)

I'm not seeing a direct response to the last part of this question yet. I'm also wondering the same thing. If I spend $45 on new releases (and none of the 60% coupon items), do I still qualify for the 15% discount next week? Or does one have to spend $45 on Select Items to get the 15% off next week?

    Thanks,

    Jason

It should be ased on total spend, not just from the category that those immediate discounts and the coupons apply to, I am told.

  • Well that changes everything! Thank you for posting this, I wanted to snag a few new items but nothing really in the coupon caught my eye. Glad I can still get the percentage of MM if I go over 45 bucks still.

i was about to spend $48 then all of a sudden thought was it worth it to spend near $50 to save 15% later, when 15% is only 15 on 100. so it takes spending 0ver 300 to make that original purchase up. I did buy a GC for 20% off though a few days ago, but it was only 100GC. ...

I had stuff in the cart; enjoyed playing shopping-cart mix-and-match, then decided saving 100% was much better, so emptied cart.
