Daz, PLEASE Fix Your Store Search

Since November 1, the store search has been functionally useless for me. In December, the now-defunct store thread stated that the search function was now the one thing left to do. Last month, the gallery returned. Jack Tomalin said he "assumed" that the store search would be the focus of effort. No word on any of that, as Daz-usual. The old store search worked EXACTLY as I would expect it to: It searched all the text on all product pages and returned the matches for the search term.
I needed a sweater (jacket shape, knit). I probably already own one or two or three, but I don't know how to find out with the broken search. If I found one that I didn't own that looked like what I see in my mind, I'd BUY it. That's why a store search is essential for a digital marketplace. Is this lost on Daz or what?
I'm tired of whinging or being snarky with Daz. I'd just like the store functionality returned to what it was BEFORE the storepocalypse. Other than the gallery looking better, all the other daily faux pas that we consumers expected to be improved have remained. We were told the store would be better. We believed the store would be better. And I'll stop there because all of the analogies that I would make are from either politics or religion.
Now, if someone doesn't mind showing me how to use an external search engine to get the results Daz' internal search returned, I'll let this go and chalk it up to it up to another Daz lesson learned.

I am not sure how it's broken, but it fails to work with DazDeals, which means it is useless for me.
I searched the term cardigan, and I got close to what I need (and already owned), but I'm sure I own something that looks more convincing.

Thanks! @WendyLuvsCatz Now I know the grammar.
I found the one I was thinking of (not named "sweater" or "cardigan") at the other store.
We're waiting for the search page to be finalized before applying our fixes to it. Although it seems to work a lot better now than it did before. Maybe it's ready?
@Ati I don't think it's ready. A search for "bleach" turns up over 70 results with "black" in the product name and one with "bleachers." A search for "butane" delivers 14 results, all of which include "bane" in the product name. Those kinds of results are so broad and random as to be useless.
"Bleach" would have been found by the old search.
I was looking for the texture expansion for Eastern Terrace, but it's AWOL to the current search. I think it was Miami-themed, but a search for "Miami" turns up 14 items with "mini" in the title.
I think this is the one you wanted (this is a link to the Wayback Machine): https://web.archive.org/web/20160330103143/https://www.daz3d.com/bistro-miami
It was by Moyra, so is no longer in store - I don't think it has reappeared on Renderosity either, though I could be wrong.
Thanks so much, @MelanieL! Yup, that's it. I'll try shaders. Due to the lack of PC+ Required Items links, there are tons of texture add-ons that I've bought but don't have catalogued for easy access. If they started putting the name of the base product as the first element in the texture product name, that would be helpful, although too much like organisation.
Oh I agree - I really miss those links to add-ons that used to be on the product page too. As for the search - well !*!?!$* Let's hope it does get some attention (and soon).
