Merging Poser runtime with D|S runtime.

So, I'm a convert. I'm going to use D|S from now on. But I've been a Poser user since P4... so I have a rather large runtime that has been hanging around since then with some cool stuff that I'd like to keep in one place (I have assigned the runtime as a secondary location, so I have access to it, but the benefit of the single Runtime folder has been that I have been able to move it from place to place over the last 15 years).
Can I simply merge my old Poser Runtime with the MyDaz 3D Library Runtime (Geometries in Geometries, textures in textures, etc) folder? Or are they significantly different that this would cause problems?
Thanks!

The risk with merging would be that if there was an updated product in the DS folder you would overwrite it with the older version. What you can do is add the existing Poser content library to DS - if it's after the default DS directory then DS wil find the updated files (for textures and geometry) first, though you don't want duplicate \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Charactername folders (DS will read morphs for the fourth or earlier generation figures from only one location). To add the folder, open the Content Library pane from Window>Panes(Tabs) if it isn't already displayed, right-click on the Poser Formats heading, and select Add Runtime Directory from the menu, then select teh folder that holds the Runtime for your Poser library.
