Yes, the discount disappeared today. KindredArts reports that this was not intended and it has been reported. So, if you own the original Ghost Light Kit just wait a bit and keep checking to see if has been corrected.

Short review of "Cloth Helper for Genesis 8 Male" and "Cloth Helper for Genesis 8 Female" by biala, discounted by 70% now on Renderosity.
I'm writing this review after experimenting with these products for only a short time, and as someone who knows basically nothing about DAZ content creation, rigging, transfer utility, importing and exporting, and all that.
The Cloth Helper appears to be a kind of invisible figure that mimicks the Genesis 8 figure. It works on G8.1 as well.
Load the Cloth Helper onto your G8. As you change the pose and shape of your G8, the Cloth Helper automatically morphs and moves with it.
I made the Cloth Helper visible for these screen shots, but it's invisible by default:
There's a user manual. It's written in broken English and the various steps are explained out of order - the thing that you have to do first is explained last for some reason. Never the less, I was able to figure it out without too much trouble.
Basically, you load the problematic garment into the scene, export it as an OBJ, import it again. Then something something Transfer Utility, this part is explained well enough. Now the garment is fitted to the Cloth Helper (which is invisible, and follows the movements and shapes of your G8)

Not as successful, but still an improvement.
The presentation and attention to detail of this product definitely leaves something to be desired. But it seems to help with some of the "funky crotch" issues, even if it doesn't seem to always solve them.

LOL I just had an "oh no" moment as it was 12:59am leaving one minute till check out. I rushed to see if I had anything left in my cart. That day when sci-fi was 70% off, I had a cart FULL and forget to check out. I guess I've really mellowed because I just shrugged and said, "oh well. Saved money." But dang, there were a lot of good products in that sale. I did it again when I told you guys about that Kiernan bundle and asked the question about the clothes and textures. But they all reappeared in the repeat it all sale a few days later so I got them then. Sheesh.

I am extremely disappointed in the DenkiGaka Patriotic Shaders. They are VERY blurry and the ones with lines bleed in to each other. Would NOT recommend at all. Go with Nelmi for shaders, the lines are ultra crisp. Here's just one sample from the Patriotic's.
Compare that to one of Nelmi's. Click then click again to enlarge. These were rendered on the same plane, same lighting, all variables the same. PS, IIRC from this morning, Nelmi is in the featured stores. Can't go wrong with their shaders.
Question for anyone who has https://www.daz3d.com/cyber-fashion-outfit-set-for-genesis-8-females, how well does the jacket fit to the guys? It's in the grab bag, so for $4 I might take the risk, if the jacket can be used on the guys. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, can't help. I was looking at that jacket too- but the neck is very custom (stiff, with lights inside it) so I couldn't think of when I would use it. It's very unique though, isn't it?
It is, that's why I like it. Also I've fallen down a cyberpunk/scifi hole and want to render glowy stuff.
Edit: Ah well, nevermind. The catch-up didn't last the whole weekend and now it's not on sale.

Heads Up: Today there is an update to Versatily for Dustmaster that removes the Dustmaster prop and morphs from the product. Also the 'what's included' on the product page has been changed to only list the textures. So if you bought Versatily for Dustmaster earlier you might want to avoid installing the update.

Meadow is a beautiful lady that has Vitiligo. She has several skin tone, makeup and nail options. She renders well. My only complaint is the eyebrows are on the skin texture and there is not a no eyebrow option.
Fantastic Twirls Hair is a new release by ChevyBabe25 and I love it! It is strand based hair; it has multiple material presets and also presets to add different colors for the tips. It has several simulation options and tiling options.
Butterfly Sleeve Top- Available elsewhere, I tend to like this creators outfits. I had reservations about this because of the wrinkle/fold across the waist. I love the sleeves and textures with the outfit. I just wished that the wrinkles/folds were optional, but they are built into the mesh I guess. Still a great top!

It's good to see a variety of people offered in the store, and you certainly did her justice. Love the muted lighting and it makes the hair strands look recessed quite nicely without looking stark. That twisted jewelry is unique (bracelet) too. Thanks for sharing!
I am curious to know whether others have reacted the same way as I have to sale changes made this year.. Since at least the beginning of 2022, sales such as the one below (and many flash sales as well) have felt like a snub to Daz+ members.

I had a couple of DO products wishlisted but, the sale plays out with Non-Daz+ members get a full additional 70% off, while Daz+ members do not. It used to be that the sale percentage off and DAZ+ discount both applied.
@gitika1 Marketing has seemed off to me for quite awhile, yep.
The continual erosion of actual realized Daz+ benefits is why I let mine expire earlier this month. I'll see if I miss it. So far I haven't. If I were buying a lot of high priced Daz Original bundles, the extra 30% would be beneficial, but for many months, the bundle content and prices have not enticed me to buy any of them. So, for now, I'm content to be a nonmember.
@barbult I've cut back about 90-95% on buying. My Daz+ is out several years, but I'm only renewing if I snag a good membership deal when it expires.
