This only works with this pug, not daz dog 8 ( https://www.daz3d.com/daz-dog-8 ) or daz cat ( https://www.daz3d.com/daz-house-cat-with-dforce-hair )?

The poses are made for the pug, which is standalone and not based on the Daz dog or cat figures.  It might have been more popular if it was based on the Daz dog or cat, or even the HW cat like the aurora and breeze pose set, but it is what it is. 

IDK.  It's two bucks or less in a mixed cart with discounts.  It's worth for the human poses it even if you have to combine with poses made for the cat or dog, imo.  If you want poses with pets, that is.

PS: The poses definitely don't work with the cat, and they only sort of kind of but not really work with small dogs.  Probably better off with real dog poses.
